Germany has radioactive wild boars
Germany has 1.4 - 2 million boars and it is estimated that at least more than 1 in 3 are radioactively contaminated to the point that if you hunt, you must get the meat tested before consumption. The contamination was originally thought to have originated from the Chernobyl disaster but they have found that it is in fact largely due to nuclear testing in the 60s. Thankfully the only giant animal we may have to deal with at Postgres Conference 2025 in Orlando is a mouse with a net worth of 178 Billion dollars.
On November 21st at 4:00PM Pacific time we are hosting a community round table and we are inviting all to attend! We want to hear from you, our community, on what you would like to see from the conference and how best it would serve to lift you up as a community member. How can we serve you and provide an experience that is truly inclusive, positive and productive for your time? If you would like to help shape the future of this conference or just get some questions answered, this is the perfect free and virtual event for you.
