Excitement, Fun and learning!
CFP open, and closing out the new year with lots of events!
As we continue our upcoming year of fun we would like to thank Redgate for supporting our intentional building of local communities through the PostgresWorld Network. Redgate is financially supporting these growing communities by easing the burden on local leadership. They also show community leadership and investment by providing facilities to our Vancouver Postgres Meetup and sending speakers to other inspiring communities such as Salt Lake City Postgres.
The Call for Papers is now open for Postgres Conference 2026! This year we are leaning even harder into People, Postgres, Data by adding a new talk type, T3D and a new track: Life! The T3D talks are a hybrid 10 minute talk that is the chemical reaction between a lightning talk and a 20 minute presentation. This unique format is a direct hat tip of respect to TED style talks.
The new “Life” talk is to encourage people to open up and has zero to do with Postgres. Do you maintain beehives, know a little bit about Solar, have a homestead, build classic cars, or terrariums? This is the track for you. We encourage all community members to give a 20 minute presentation on the things they know that are not Postgres!
